1^st International Conference on Arts will be held from 25-27 March, 2008 at the Institute of Arts & Design, University of Sindh Jamshoro, Pakistan. Jamshoro is located near Hyderabad and is about 100 miles North - East of Karachi. It is a University town, surrounded by Mehran University of Engineering and Technology, by Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences and by Center of Excellence Art and Design at the bank of Indus River.

The goal of three-days International Conference and International Art Exhibition is to provide a forum to artists and scholars of Pakistan and abroad to exchange ideas and interact on the issues of Arts and crafts in the 21^st Century.

Furthermore, the objective of the International Art Exhibition is to provide an opportunity to artists of Pakistan to interact with the International artists on various issues, techniques and mediums related to arts in the Contemporary world.
